Instructor

Jonathan began his study of Chinese martial arts in the spring of 2000 and is an advanced practitioner/teacher (Sifu) in the Southern Chinese kung fu styles of Hung Gar/Choy Li Fut as well as Ja Kari Do Kung Fu (Shaolin animal fighting systems).  Other kung fu styles studied include:  Jook Lum South Mantis, Wing Chun, Qigong (Chi Kung), Tai Chi (Yang Style) and Wah Lum.  As a police officer, Jonathan was certified in Pressure Point Control Tactics (PPCT) and CDT.  Also prior to studying CMA, he had trained briefly in fencing and boxing.

In January of 2001, Jonathan became a Children’s Kung Fu Instructor and Assistant Instructor at Au’s Shaolin Arts Society and Bowling Green Kung Fu Academy (Currently East/West Kung Fu).  He trained/instructed there until January 2005.  In January 2006 he began training/instructing with Sifu Madison at Shaolin Kung Fu Center under Master Au until opening his own school.

Chinese Fighting Arts Academy's recognizes Sigung Seng Jeorng Au as its primary master.
